What to expect
The first stop will be at the UNESCO excavations of Pompeii where you can enjoy a couple of hours, followed by the excavations of Herculaneum, here you can explore the site that was once a city at the feet of the Vesuvius; Finally a trip to the famous winery to enjoy a short tour and tasty local lunch.
The buried cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum were left under a blanket of ashes after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79. Let’s say “a must see” of our peninsula due to its intact excavations.
At the local winery you will be able to get a real taste for Neapolitan flavours.
Let us take you to taste a DOC wine made from the land of the Vesuvius. This wine is better known as Lacryma Christi. It was once produced by the monks and after by the Jesuit Fathers who have become the only producers of this precious wine.
