What to expect
The first stop will be at the excavations. The buried city of Pompeii was left under a blanket of ashes after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79. Let’s say “a must see” of our peninsula due to its intact excavations. You will be able t o visit the excavations for a couple of hours and then we will visit the sunny Sorrento
The uniqueness of it’s landscapes inspired Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti, however it still remains inspiring to anyone who visits it today.
Filled with shops, bars and restaurants, it welcomes all those who want to explore the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast.
Sorrento is the birthplace to Torquato Tasso, a famous poet, to whom the main square was dedicated and where his monument stands in his memory today.
